[00:00:00] Speaker A: Welcome, everybody. It's March 25th. Coming off a great weekend, March Madness, one of the best weekends in sports. I'm here with my fellow Pit legends on the Pit Legends Podcast. Jermaine Dixon, Gary McGee, Lavance Fields. Gentlemen, let's get right to it. Crazy weekend. A lot of good games. A lot of great games. Not as much Cinderella stories as we're used to in previous years, but good slate coming up here for the sweet 16. What was some of you guys favorite games, Favorite games over the weekend? [00:00:27] Speaker B: Favorite games? Well, for me, it was probably my. The best game. I mean, you know, I enjoyed Dark Queen game winning Maryland, you know, I'm ready to get him some love, but I thought the BYU and Wisconsin was it. BYU and Arizona. [00:00:44] Speaker C: Arizona. [00:00:44] Speaker B: Arizona and Oregon. Arizona and Oregon. [00:00:47] Speaker C: They killed. They killed me. [00:00:48] Speaker B: What? Should have stayed longer. [00:00:55] Speaker D: I was. [00:00:55] Speaker C: I was communicating with you. Like, yo, I get out right now. Is it looking good? But I thought they could do it. You know, it wasn't much on it, but I was like, man, they got a chance. [00:01:04] Speaker B: I thought. I thought that game was good. Came down to the wire was. I enjoyed watching Caleb Love play well, hitting every big shot when they needed it. I forgot how athletic he was. I. I enjoyed watching him. And I wanted them to win just because I want to see his matchup against Duke, because he hates Duke, and I don't think they're going to be able to beat him, but I enjoy seeing him getting that win, and I enjoyed that game. So that was probably my favorite game from the weekend. [00:01:31] Speaker C: For me, it probably was the. The UConn and Florida game. That was a great game. I thought UConn had it. Honestly. They were playing well. You know, they moved the ball well. Was it McKilly? How you say his last name? McKilly. McNeely. McNally was playing good. [00:01:49] Speaker B: They would. [00:01:50] Speaker C: They. Ball didn't play as good as you thought he would play in that game. Played cool, but they didn't get nothing from him. But Walter played junior. He was getting to it. Tough shot after tough shot, big shots. It was a good game. That good back and forth. I enjoyed watching that game. It was March Madness right there. Good game right there. [00:02:07] Speaker D: Same game as Gary. I enjoyed the UConn Florida game after Maine. Been talking about him all year. They was defending champion. I felt like they did enough to win that game. It was a really good game. They made Florida earn it. Obviously, like g said, Clayton Jr. Made some tough, tough shots, Had a great second half, and Florida was able to, you know, prevail. And get the win. But I enjoyed that game the most. It was. It was a back and forth contest pretty much all game. Both coaches did a great job for both of their teams and the players did a great job of executing. [00:02:38] Speaker B: I mean, now I gotta feel like I gotta speak on you. Colin. [00:02:41] Speaker A: We got it. [00:02:41] Speaker D: That's just. [00:02:41] Speaker B: I think I have to say something. [00:02:44] Speaker A: I was waiting. I was. I didn't say anything. I was waiting. [00:02:48] Speaker B: I thought UConn just like y'all thought UConn should have won a game. But the crazy thing is they shot terrible as a team and ball didn't shoot well. He hit a three late, which I thought was going to be big, but they came back down and hit another. They hit a three. McNeely, he didn't shoot it well from the three. So they didn't shoot well as a team. And at the end of the game, it seemed like Florida got every loose ball that mattered. I kept my belief just because, you know, I thought they would. But I'll say this. Believe a team when they show you their true college during the year. Coaches. Coaches can't always save you. [00:03:21] Speaker C: I mean. Okay, so we've been telling you this. We've been telling you this since when? [00:03:28] Speaker B: Hey, I just said I just wanted to keep. I wanted to keep. [00:03:36] Speaker C: Start crying after the game. Oh, hope they don't. [00:03:39] Speaker B: I mean, listen, I don't care. I don't care about that. I don't care about that. I don't. [00:03:43] Speaker D: I really. I don't. [00:03:46] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't care. [00:03:47] Speaker C: Your man start crying after the game. I said what I said. Because you try to get on. Oh, you try to get on early. It's a reason. I was on you all year. It's a reason. I'm just showing you. He proved my point over and over again. [00:03:57] Speaker B: I gotta get it off. [00:03:57] Speaker C: I got it off. I got it off. [00:04:00] Speaker B: He did a good job coaching. He did a good job in the game. I'm sorry. He did a good job. [00:04:04] Speaker C: That's why he's an unlikable. It's an unlikable guy. Unlikable coach. [00:04:07] Speaker B: I'm just saying it is. Is what it is. [00:04:10] Speaker C: Been plenty of two time champs. He's just one of the ones you just. It's hard to like him. I mean, he's a great coach. I give him credit. [00:04:16] Speaker B: Go. [00:04:18] Speaker C: They all enter the portal. [00:04:19] Speaker B: Rumor said they all out of there. [00:04:20] Speaker C: They need to go. Y'all talk about y'all. [00:04:23] Speaker B: Every single one of. [00:04:24] Speaker C: I heard a little birdie told me is a lot of them are Entering the portal. That's all I know. We just, we look out later. [00:04:30] Speaker D: Yo, look, say kids enter the portal, man, it ain't too many sources. [00:04:34] Speaker C: They enter the portal during the tournament while they still playing. Crazy. That's crazy. That's crazy. [00:04:42] Speaker B: Indiana, I think it was Indiana State or Arkansas State, one of them team. They lost all. The whole team gone. [00:04:48] Speaker C: Oh, that's crazy. [00:04:49] Speaker B: Whole roster. The whole roster. They got zero scholarships, but yeah, go reload for next year, man. [00:04:55] Speaker C: I'm sure they'd be back. He. He got an Indiana guy coming. Coming this way. He got game Mullins, Mickey D's. You'll see him in the McDonald game. I was trying to go check him out. They got put out, but they got put out in the tournament. Close game, but yeah, I was gonna go check him out. Trying to see, you know, just trying to check out the talent, you know, around, around the state, you know. [00:05:18] Speaker D: Checking out some games. You know, Checking out some games. [00:05:23] Speaker A: So Yukon let Maine down. I know you've been. Maine was on the, on the bandwagon all year, but another major letdown, St. John's Levance. You were on them all year. You're riding them. You picked them for the tournament, for the conference tournament, you picked them for the NCAA tournament and they just, they let you down. One of the worst shooting performances I've seen in a while. How, how do you feel about that game? It was a good game though, you know, Rick Patino versus Calipari. That's. That's how you draw it up. Basketball royalty, great game. But how'd you feel about that game? [00:05:59] Speaker D: Like G said, man, they was gonna run into some trouble because of their shooting. I thought they could overcome it. I mean, I knew they didn't shoot well all year, but because of the defense and a second chance opportunities, I feel like that was that they always overcame their shooting, bad shooting nights. So unfortunately in the tournament, though, it's one game and it caught up to them, you know, and then one of their best players, if not the best player on the team, RJ Luis, he had a. He had a horrible game, I believe was 3 for 6, 17 or something like that. 17. So, I mean, he was trying, he shot. Just wasn't his night, man. So. Only guy I think really played well was the big guy, Echo4. I hope I said it right. Kadari Richmond, I mean, he was in foul trouble. Couple questionable calls. You look at, you know, the game and the stat sheet, he didn't give much, but of course he was in foul trouble. So it Just was a bad night. Unfortunately, in the tournament, like they always say, man, you just. That's why it's anybody game. You got to be ready every game. And unfortunately for St. John's they did fight back. It still was a good game, but they just couldn't overcome that. And in the tournament, that's what usually happens. Gotta win an ugly game. [00:07:15] Speaker C: How do you feel about. [00:07:16] Speaker A: I know they benched Lewis Jr. At the end there. He was having a terrible game, but usually coaches still, you know, keep their ponies in there. How do you guys feel about him benching Louisiana? [00:07:28] Speaker C: I don't agree with it. I think he should have just let him. I mean, he's your best. Been your best player all year. Big east player of the year. Got you that far. He's having a bat, you know, he's having a stinker. But it just take one shot, you know, for a player like that to get hot or he could make a big shot down the stretch. It was a fairly close game for a while, so I would have just let him, you know, shoot all the bullets and throw the gun. That's. That's how. [00:07:50] Speaker A: Do you think there was more to it? Do you think it was. Maybe he had, like. Some said he. There was, like, an attitude thing. I don't know. It looked like there could have been more to it. [00:07:58] Speaker D: I would let him shoot, too. Like G said, he didn't be that guy all year. We're gonna live in. [00:08:04] Speaker B: God, with him, it could have been something. You never know with Patino, though. I mean, he. He run his program how he run his program, so I'm with y'all, though. I would. I would let him rock out. I let him play. Especially with Kadari Richmond and foul trouble. Like, he couldn't be on the court. Even the point guard was in foul trouble. I mean, I know he's not like a. But he's one of the. One of the main stable guys. They were both on the bench, so. And I feel like RJ Was just like, look, my guy's out. Outside the big fella. I don't want to say his name wrong. Outside of him playing well was like, I gotta go get a bucket. I. I think he tried to. He tried to cut it low and just, you know, he was struggling. Could he have made plays at the end of the game? He probably could have. Like G said, it could have been one shot that clicked for him. But all in all, St. John's they shot 28% from the field. Like, you can't win games like that. And the crazy, My bad real quick. And crazy thing is Arkansas didn't shoot great either. They shot like 40% from the field, 10% from the three point line, but they only had nine turnovers. And that's the way, that's the way you beat St. John is take care of the football. So I got to say shout out to Arkansas just because I said they shouldn't be in the tournament and they going into the second weekend, so I gotta give them that love. [00:09:20] Speaker C: Football. Move around, move around, dog. Move around. [00:09:24] Speaker A: John don't have a football team. [00:09:28] Speaker B: I figured they, you know, football, my first love. [00:09:32] Speaker C: I figured they would run into that shooting problem. I watched them play, you know, a few times this year and I just. They just didn't have the sniper that they needed. I figured they would get upset. I didn't think they would make a run to the Final Four. I mean, I hate to say I called it, but I called it. You know, I just wanted to throw that in there, you know, but. Go ahead, take off. [00:09:48] Speaker A: So let's shuffle the cards again. Off one seeds remain, three to two seeds remain. A lot of dominant performances. A lot of teams actually got challenged first for some portions of the game. Who do you guys feel right now? If we can reshuffle the deck, who's the best team in the tournament right now? [00:10:04] Speaker D: Who? [00:10:04] Speaker A: Look, who looked the best? Who looked like they're playing the best? [00:10:07] Speaker D: Cooper Flag. Proctor, the way he's shooting the defense with the big guys, they got that come. The one that's starting the other guy they bring in, they got Knuckle on the wing, he handles the ball as well. And then Cooper again, he does everything. So I think Duke right now is the best team. I had them getting to the championship and losing, so I'm still looking good now. I got them winning because we even got to explain it. So I got Duke winning. [00:10:35] Speaker B: Yeah, I think I'm. I'm with Lee and Duke is probably hands down the best team right now. In both games they held Baylor and Mount St. Martin. I mean, yeah, I'll say my under 35 shooting and they didn't. They're not even causing a bunch of turnovers. They just playing. They just playing a solid defense, like tough man to man defense, health defense, everybody. They on the string and Cooper Flag being Cooper flag. And like Lee said, Proctor shooting 81% from the three in the tournament, averaging over what, like 23 points maybe they just look, they just been looking unbeatable since, since they played us, since they played Pitt. It's just this dude. [00:11:13] Speaker C: So for me, I probably would go. I'm gonna go with Florida. I like Florida. They showed me something where they fought in that game. Clayton Jr. Really impressed me. I mean, he impressed me watching that game. The tough shot making, leadership. Every time they needed a bucket, he gave them one. They got the bigs down there. That was finishing around the paint. They got the athletic guy from Florida Atlantic. Florida. Hey, Florida Atlantic had three guys. The three guys from their tournament still still going on their teams. They got. Dude, I think it's. What's his name? Martin. They got Martin. They got the dude from Indiana. Well, I can't think of his name right now. They play for the guard. Oh, w. I can't do his name. Him. [00:11:51] Speaker B: Arkansas. [00:11:52] Speaker C: Yeah, him. And then they got the. The big man. Go. Go golden or whatever his name is from. From Michigan. They always. [00:12:01] Speaker D: Florida Atlantic. [00:12:02] Speaker C: All three of them was on Florida Atlantic Final Four team. So that's. That's pretty impressive for Florida Atlantic to have three players. That's having huge impacts on teams and still going, wow. But, yeah, Florida will be it for me. I like them. I didn't pick them in my Final Four. Even though my Final Four teams are still alive, well and breathing. All four of them. All four of them. They're still alive, well and breathing. But that's Michigan, Tennessee. Michigan, Tennessee. Remember? Because I wanted. I didn't want to have the same one as you, so I went against the grain. [00:12:35] Speaker D: Yeah. So you'll be out of here soon. [00:12:39] Speaker B: Oh, my team, man. [00:12:41] Speaker C: I thought she had UConn. [00:12:43] Speaker B: Duke. Maryland. No, Duke. Maryland, Michigan and Tennessee. [00:12:49] Speaker C: Okay, you got one different one. The only one is I got Houston instead of. [00:12:53] Speaker A: No, would you have as a champion, man? [00:12:57] Speaker B: Duke. Okay, Duke and Maryland in the championship game. [00:13:01] Speaker C: And I'll pick Michigan when he gets the grain. [00:13:03] Speaker B: The fans. [00:13:06] Speaker C: Hey, hey, hey. He went hard over. He went hard over. Brain. [00:13:09] Speaker D: I knew Duke would be there. I'm still good. I had Duke in the chip. [00:13:13] Speaker C: Dude gonna get up today. Hey. Dude gonna get up. [00:13:19] Speaker D: Tennessee and Auburn still in it. I'm all right. [00:13:22] Speaker A: How do you. How do we feel about Arkansas? I know Arkansas. It gutted out a win against John's. Kind of pulled away towards the end. You think they have a chance against Texas Tech and moving on after what you've seen so far, you think they just got a good draw? [00:13:35] Speaker D: If you win two games, you got a chance, of course, in the tournament, I mean, they should be. They confidence should be sky high. So of course they got a chance. I don't Think Texas Tech is too dominant. I know there was SEC though, right? Well, Big 12, so yeah, I think Arkansas, Arkansas is SEC, so yeah, they should be able to hold their own against Texas Tech. I mean once again they won two games already. They should be confident there was a team that some may speculate it shouldn't have made it like Maine said, he being one of them. So I'm sure they're using that as motivation as well with their coaches. Caliper. So I think they got a chance. They definitely got a chance against Texas Tech. [00:14:15] Speaker B: Yeah, Whitley, I think they got a chance. They, they playing well in the tournament. Now. I wasn't a believer in them in a year but Calipari, he gets players and DJ Wagner is playing, he's playing great in the tournament. I didn't really see nothing from. What's your man from New York? Boogie Flu, Boogie flair. I didn't see much from him, but they got. Let's just get another player back. That's. I think he was double figure score. So their team is intact. So. Yeah, we'll see. I think Texas Tech is an easy draw. Well, not easy, but easier draw them. Probably the easiest game. That's even disrespectful to say. I think it. But I think it's probably one of the easiest game this, this week coming up. So we'll see how, we'll see how it goes. We'll see how. [00:15:05] Speaker A: Texas Tech. [00:15:06] Speaker D: You heard Boogie Flynn spaces the floor, man. [00:15:09] Speaker B: He spaces the floor. [00:15:10] Speaker D: He was out for a long time. I think this week, I think against Texas Tech he gets activated. [00:15:15] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. He hasn't played in a while. I'm with you. I just said I didn't see nothing from that, you know, but. And you was talking about him, so I was like, let me pay attention, you know, I give him another weekend. Hey, I can't say nothing. I struggled in the tournament. So Nick, what you said about Texas. [00:15:36] Speaker A: Tech, I was like, why can't you boldly say they're the easiest draw? You must got a cousin on the. [00:15:41] Speaker C: Team, make a full statement. [00:15:43] Speaker B: Like I feel like every team that gets to the second round, I, I just. The second weekend, I feel like it's disrespectful to say they're easy draw. That's just me personally. It's not, it's hard to play in a sweet 16. [00:15:55] Speaker A: So there's seven SEC teams left. So seven SEC teams made to sweet 16. Is that enough out of the 14 teams to say that, you know, they dominated tournament? [00:16:06] Speaker C: Yes, they're the best conference ever. We put our hands down. [00:16:09] Speaker B: We. [00:16:10] Speaker C: Y'all got it. They did it. They did that. 7, 7 out of 14 in the elite in sweet 16 is very impressive and number respect to that conference. Well respected. Well it's well deserved and respected on definitely being able to do that. And I had to go back what I said I didn't pick Michigan and when I pick Alabama, excuse me, I'll make sure I put that out there. Alabama was my national championship, not Michigan. [00:16:32] Speaker B: Sorry about that. [00:16:33] Speaker C: I had to make sure I put that out there. That's not what I meant. [00:16:38] Speaker D: I'm just glad you commit that G man. More teas went to the front to the second weekend I had only two teams advance. It's dead the convo. I don't want to hear it no more. Bury it. [00:16:49] Speaker C: I mean we. We lasted. [00:16:51] Speaker B: We lasted. [00:16:52] Speaker C: What was this 20, 25. Lasted 14 years. That's. That's impressive. I'll take it. We had a nice run. We had a nice run. Records are meant to be broken. You know how many. [00:17:04] Speaker B: How many sec. How many teams playing each other this weekend? [00:17:07] Speaker C: It's only Kentucky and Tennessee. [00:17:12] Speaker B: Tennessee, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama. [00:17:20] Speaker C: Hey, they got a player. [00:17:21] Speaker B: They got a. So there's only one game. [00:17:23] Speaker C: I was gonna say they got a player on their point guard. Tall point guard. I talked about him early, early in the season. One of the first pies we had. He's nice. Big point guard, 6, 8. I forgot he's from overseas somewhere. He legit can pass that thing. I don't. I don't see them winning it. I just want to say he's a good player. I like him. It's like Edgman or something like that. [00:17:45] Speaker B: It's funny. BYU got, BYU got. They got the dude Richie son Saunders, he averaging like. I mean like 17 a game after that they got like seven players that's averaging between seven. [00:17:59] Speaker C: I'm looking at the stats right now like the assange is average 16. The dude I'm talking about, his name. His Last name is Demon. 10, 10 and a half 5 assists and then he got 9, 9, 8, 7, 7, 7, 6. It's crazy. So they spread. Spread. Well yeah. [00:18:15] Speaker A: They got the best player in the country going on next year. [00:18:17] Speaker C: Respects. [00:18:19] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, I've seen that. But Kevin Young is a good coach. Good X's and those guys. I just think. I think. I think they about to take a. Have a tough draw though. I don't think they can beat Alabama. [00:18:30] Speaker C: They didn't look good. Mark Sears didn't play great at all. But they was able. They was able to tough that win out. They were better. Just a better team. More talent than the teams they played. [00:18:40] Speaker A: So Robert Morris showed out for Pittsburgh. [00:18:43] Speaker D: You got to survive in advance, man. [00:18:46] Speaker B: How about to say they end up smacking Robin Morris? [00:18:49] Speaker C: Yeah, they got. [00:18:50] Speaker D: They packed him up though. [00:18:54] Speaker A: By 14, I think. [00:18:55] Speaker C: Oh, 14 out in the end, though, that was. [00:19:01] Speaker B: No, no, I know it was a closer game, but I just said at the end, they pulled away. [00:19:06] Speaker D: They was going crazy in the spot. [00:19:08] Speaker B: I'm the big dog and you not, but they was going crazy up there. You know what's crazy? I wanted to start off with asking you that and I forgot. How was. How was your. How was your trip to Pittsburgh? [00:19:20] Speaker D: That was cool, man. That was good. It was good. I went to Tom's Bar. That's the spot that would have been our spot when we was in campus. Got all the TVs. It's nice. Service is good. Spacious. It's right around what was the event. Some guys that's like a financial advisors, they had like just a meet and greet about they. What they got going on with some people in the company. And I just met like probably like 15 to 25 people, something like that. And we just eating, watching the games. It was. It was cool. [00:19:52] Speaker B: It was like. It was like a private setting, prior. [00:19:54] Speaker D: Setting, you know, I mean, like I said, we had our section then it's like Robert Morris had a watch party for their game. Had some other couple things in there. So like I said, it's spacious in there. So it was good. It was a nice crowd. It was. It was cool. I got to sign some autographs. [00:20:09] Speaker B: It was. [00:20:09] Speaker D: It was good. [00:20:10] Speaker B: People still asking for Lee Banger autograph. [00:20:15] Speaker D: You had to sign, huh? [00:20:17] Speaker A: What's the craziest thing? You got asked to sign. [00:20:22] Speaker D: Somebody. Bombs. Sign somebody. Balls, man. [00:20:28] Speaker C: It was kind of crazy. That's dope, man. [00:20:34] Speaker A: That's great. [00:20:34] Speaker D: Yeah, somebody got it. [00:20:39] Speaker A: Likeness. [00:20:41] Speaker D: I said, yo, I do the podcast with Jermaine Dixon and Gary McKee. He was like, oh, yeah, Gary. Yeah, G got a little man. They like them. Yeah. [00:20:53] Speaker C: And we get back to that later. Nick, what you just said that name, image and likes. We'll get back to that later. That's. [00:20:57] Speaker B: That's. [00:20:57] Speaker C: We'll get back to that later. [00:21:00] Speaker A: But so the good slate are coming up this Thursday and Friday. This week, 16 again, not a lot of Cinderellas. So that kind of lines up for all, you know, heavyweight matchups. Which game are you guys looking forward to the most? [00:21:12] Speaker D: I'm going to say that Maryland and Florida game after he Queen was able to end the Maryland game, helped them Advance. Wade Clayton Jr. Was able to finish the Florida game for them and help them advance. I'm looking forward to watching that on Thursday night, seeing who's ready to get to the Elite Eight. I think that'll be a really good game. Obviously, Florida being a favorite number one seed. But once again, once we got to this weekend, I think every team should be confident. And Maryland got a star player in Derrick McQueen. So I think they're, they're pretty confident in what they could do against Florida. [00:21:47] Speaker B: Dark Queen this. Queen. [00:21:49] Speaker D: Oh, Queen. Oh. My bad. Gary sent in the chat. He got a shot, man. [00:22:00] Speaker C: That's the nil, man. He should have recorded right there. [00:22:03] Speaker D: Baltimore go, man. We know you wanted to. [00:22:09] Speaker B: No, no, no. I don't want to talk for an hour. I just want to say. [00:22:12] Speaker D: I mean I'm. [00:22:13] Speaker B: No, go ahead. You can go ahead. [00:22:15] Speaker C: I was gonna say the game that I'm looking forward to. I want to see the Michigan, Auburn game. I think that's going to be a good game. Got some bigs that's gonna go at it. Broom and Goldman, they're going to go at it because Broom, Broom, Broom. Didn't have a good game against Craig. He didn't play well at all. Eight points, had 12 rebounds, but he's like 4 for 13 from the field. His efficiency and effectiveness has been up and down since he had the injury early in the season, so he hasn't been really consistent as he was earlier. So I look for him to have a good game and I look for Donaldson on Michigan to have a. Have a good game against Auburn. I think him and Pettiford will go at it. So I think that'd be an exciting matchup. I'm not sure who's going to win that one. I have Michigan, but I think it's going to go down to the wire. [00:22:56] Speaker D: Auburn going to win. Don't worry about it. [00:22:58] Speaker B: That's going to be a good game. [00:22:59] Speaker C: That's going to be a good game. [00:23:01] Speaker B: Same thing for me with like Lee, Maryland and Florida. But before I say that I do, I mentioned it earlier. I want to see, I want to see Arizona and Duke. Just the way Caleb Love is talking, talking about he don't like Duke. I'm anxious to see that. Will it probably be a blowout? Maybe, but I just want to see how he gonna come and play. But yeah, my game is merlin also like I'm home team Dairy Queen. You know, I got hype when he Said when he repped the city. So Dark Queen is him. I just want to say that. I said he should get that last shot I wrote in the chat, right? Y'all seen that. [00:23:35] Speaker D: Make a play. [00:23:36] Speaker B: Go be great. And he went in. He gone. He's gone. After this year, he's gone. [00:23:40] Speaker D: I don't know why I was. My bad. I was tripping. [00:23:42] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, ain't no. Ain't no stand. Ain't no stand. [00:23:45] Speaker D: He might like the college a little bit. I'm bugging. [00:23:48] Speaker B: The only thing for me with Maryland is that I think the rest of the games and they'll start with this game against Florida. I think every game will come down to the wire. Just because it's hard to win with five guys. It can be done. It can be done, but it's going to be really hard. Like, they're not. They're not getting nothing from the bench. And even in the game, I got to say, I don't know why the Maryland goes on. When dude hit that three, I was like, what are you doing? But hey, Dairy Queen. Dairy Queen is great. Let's focus on getting the title to college spot. Even though I want Duke to win. Even though I want Duke to win. You got to bring a title back home. [00:24:22] Speaker C: Yeah, well, I'm about to say it. Speaking. Go ahead. I was about to say, speaking of. Speaking of Maryland, that my sin, not my Cinderella. The sleeper team I had Colorado State got a win. They pushed Maryland to the bring. I mean, I just be knowing, man, holla. I just be knowing. I said probably. If you go back and check the pod. Hey, man, you know, I'll be knowing this, man. Holla at me when you need to know some information. [00:24:46] Speaker B: You know what's crazy? That coach left and went to Minnesota. [00:24:50] Speaker C: Colorado State. [00:24:51] Speaker B: Colorado. [00:24:54] Speaker D: Colorado State. Yeah. [00:24:56] Speaker A: Low major. Mid major is dead. [00:24:57] Speaker C: Hey, man, I agree with what you said on the last spot, man. He was right. Mid majors might be. It might be. It might be very quiet for them. Very quiet. Yeah. [00:25:08] Speaker A: There's no Cinderellas. [00:25:10] Speaker C: Right? Okay, I can admit when, you know, when I did further, further. Further research and investigation, you're correct. That bread that. That bread is just too crazy. Now they said the dude. [00:25:24] Speaker D: I feel like dude is old too. And before, like mid majors would have the older dudes, the seniors, the juniors, whereas the big school, they entering. Like, I feel like now because of this, it be seniors 5th year senior still at these big major rooms. Look at, boom, you're fifth year, right? Senior. So I think that leveled it out too. Whereas once again, when we used to be playing, I mean, we did do four years, but a lot of the mid majors used to be experienced. That was what used to get them. They had good players, but they was experienced. They'll run into a team that was good, but they were young. They had a young star and they would beat him because they experienced. [00:26:01] Speaker B: What's the. What's the highest seed that's still playing? [00:26:06] Speaker A: Arkansas is a 10 seed. And then the 26 seeds is BYU and Ole Miss. The rest is 1, 2, 3, 4. [00:26:12] Speaker D: Ole Miss. Playing Ole Miss. [00:26:13] Speaker A: Did I like Michigan State? [00:26:17] Speaker C: Michigan State was shaky too. [00:26:18] Speaker D: Doing that. That's what I'm saying. And it's sec you gotta get. That's what I'm putting on my ticket. [00:26:25] Speaker C: All of them. [00:26:29] Speaker D: I'm gonna do a ticket. [00:26:32] Speaker B: You got something for the fans. [00:26:35] Speaker D: I'm gonna do a ticket with oscc. I ain't doing too much thinking. I'm picking whatever. Only game gonna be hard is Tennessee and Kentucky. But I got Tennessee going, so I'm gonna pick Tennessee. [00:26:47] Speaker C: I might take the points on that one. [00:26:48] Speaker D: If they got duke winning by 19, 24, whatever. They got him 24. I'm exaggerating, but whatever they got, I think it's 11 and I'm taking that with my eyes closed. [00:27:01] Speaker C: I'm not. But. [00:27:02] Speaker B: But you still. [00:27:05] Speaker C: I was like, I can't believe you had. [00:27:07] Speaker D: No, I didn't. It was. It was 13. [00:27:10] Speaker B: 12 and a half. [00:27:11] Speaker C: That's the only one. I was like 13. They're not saying that. [00:27:15] Speaker D: They was up 22 to 21. Man, they got. They start. [00:27:18] Speaker C: That's, you know, 22 to 21. Ain't nothing in the first half. [00:27:23] Speaker D: No, that's. That's major. [00:27:25] Speaker B: That's major in the tournament. [00:27:27] Speaker C: Flag is on the other side of the corner. [00:27:31] Speaker D: And that's what I realized. That's why whatever spread they put up for Cooper flag, I'm not scared of it. [00:27:37] Speaker B: Hold up, hold up. Let me run. Let me run this down to you real quickly. They got you taking Bama over byu, right? Are you doing the spread or you just taking the game? [00:27:47] Speaker C: If it's six. [00:27:50] Speaker B: Bama is 95. [00:27:52] Speaker D: That's right. That's where I write. Bama. Let's go. Spares and Nelson. [00:27:55] Speaker B: They got Florida six and a half over Maryland. [00:27:59] Speaker D: I don't like to do that, man. Ricky and DC over there, I keep that bet in the chat. Now, I'm not gonna say that. [00:28:04] Speaker B: Over there they got. They got Arkansas plus five and a half against Texas Tech. [00:28:09] Speaker D: That's a fizzy wall. I think I want the money line, but I'm taking that plus six for sure. [00:28:16] Speaker B: Ole Miss plus three and a half against Michigan State. [00:28:19] Speaker D: I'm taking that plus three and a half Sec. [00:28:22] Speaker B: They got Tennessee plus four and a half. I mean, they got Kentucky plus four and a half to Tennessee. [00:28:27] Speaker C: That's a tough one. [00:28:28] Speaker D: That's Tennessee money line. Money line. [00:28:32] Speaker B: Tennessee money line. [00:28:33] Speaker C: That's gonna be close. [00:28:36] Speaker B: And then they got Auburn minus nine against Michigan. [00:28:42] Speaker C: Michigan. [00:28:43] Speaker B: That's tough. [00:28:44] Speaker C: Michigan plus nine. What's the money? Michigan plus nine. [00:28:48] Speaker B: The money line is 450. [00:28:50] Speaker D: I might have to take that money. I might have to take that fourth negative 450. [00:28:54] Speaker A: That's a kicker. [00:28:56] Speaker D: I'm not taking no plus nine. Michigan. [00:29:02] Speaker C: Was almost good. That was almost a straight green bean. They did me dirty. [00:29:11] Speaker B: You would have had more on that. [00:29:12] Speaker C: You would have had a better payout. He's about to get like 25. I told him to cash out of the rack, but he's like, no, I'm away. He ended up cashing out like five. But that's still good, though. He still got something good. He made it off that. That's a good. [00:29:29] Speaker B: Yeah, I might have took that. I ain't gonna lie to you. I might have took that. [00:29:32] Speaker D: What did you say, Nick? [00:29:35] Speaker C: What's. [00:29:36] Speaker A: What's a Purdue. Houston spread. [00:29:37] Speaker B: Who? Purdue in Houston. They got Houston. [00:29:41] Speaker C: That's an indie. [00:29:42] Speaker A: See, that's too much. [00:29:46] Speaker B: And they got Duke -9 against Arizona. [00:29:49] Speaker C: Hey, Purdue might win, might come out, might go. They. They can't do it because guess what? They playing here. They playing here in Indianapolis. So that's. That's an hour away from Lucky. So they gonna be deep in there. [00:30:00] Speaker B: You got Houston in your final four, right? [00:30:01] Speaker C: I didn't. [00:30:02] Speaker D: I didn't know this. [00:30:02] Speaker C: Where the. What's the name was the regional final. That's tough at the crib. I think the helper do get that love. Respect, though. [00:30:09] Speaker D: Respect, though. [00:30:10] Speaker A: Yeah. Looking forward to it. So we still had everybody's predictions. Everybody at least has three of their four final four still in it. Tune in next week to see how we continue on.
